"The Social Network" Number One In Box Office

I finally went to see "The Social Network" this morning. I can now see why this movie was number one in the box office. This movie is a must see, especially for business students interested in starting their own company. The movie touches on several important topics such as state of incorporation, angel investors, venture financing, anti-dilution clauses, additional rounds of financing and intellectuality property rights.

  1. Speaking of THE Social Network... Google is getting jealous! Check out this article in which the power is deemed: "Possibly--after all, user data is the single most important currency on the web".

Google Faces Off With Facebook, Denying It Gmail Contacts Data:

So now who will step in and give users what they really want -- namely, seemless integration of various social media tools no matter who the company running the servers? If user data is seen by all as Google sees it, then perhaps no-one. But if a company can prove encription techniques where all they are doing is porting data and blind to it's content, that may be interesting to the big social media platform players.
