Turns out that cool adults like Legos too. As reported in
this article, David Beckham recently revealed in a Yahoo! Interview that he would like to be a professional Lego builder. After his revelation, sales for the Lego Taj Mahal reportedly grew by over 600%. This illustrates the power of social media such as Yahoo! Interviews... and also how bored some people are.
This also shows how you can find customers in very unlikely places. Before reading about it, I would have never guessed that adults were such a valuable segment for Legos.
